Express Shipping Access Requests
General Guidelines
- Anyone with an active NetID and Supervisory Organization can submit this request type.
- Express shipping requests can only be made for a single user or for oneself.
- The system will determine if the Ordering For (user) has access. If they currently have access, the request can only be submitted to delete access. If they do not have access, the request can only be submitted to obtain access.
Actions to Locate the Express Shipping Request Form
- Navigate to the Procure-to-Pay Functional Support service page.
- Click on the blue Requests button.
- Click the Express Shipping Access Request form link.
Actions to Complete the Request Form
- Complete the Request Details Section:
- Requested By - Requesters' names will automatically populate.
- Ordering For – Select one of the following from the drop-down.
- Myself – Select when submitting a request for yourself.
- Single User – Select when submitting a request for another person. Additional fields display:
- Requested For – Input the person’s name the request is for, or select their name from the drop-down list.
- NetID – This field will automatically populate based on the selection made in the Requested For field.
- Email - This field will automatically populate based on the selection made in the Requested For field.
- Phone - This field may automatically populate based on the selection made in the Requested For field. If the field does not populate, input the Single User telephone number.
- Request Type – Add or Delete will auto-populate based on the Ordering For current status. If the Ordering For does not have access the Add radio button will be selected. If the Ordering For already has E-ship access, the Delete radio button will be selected.
- Add attachments as necessary by using the paperclip icon.
- Click Submit, and the request is routed to the proper team to approve/fulfill the request. The submitted request will be displayed in My Items at the top of the IT Service Portal in the Active Tickets section. The Requester will also receive an email notification and can track the status by clicking the request number link.
