Determining if Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is installed on your computer

About

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is a systems management platform, allowing ITS to distribute software, OS updates, patches, manage settings, and gather information on managed computers.

In order for SCCM to manage a computer, the SCCM client software must be installed on that computer. To determine whether the SCCM client is installed on your computer:

Windows

  1. Open Control Panel. In the top right corner, ensure View by: is set to Category mode.
  2. Select System and Security.
  3. If an option named Configuration Manager is present, the SCCM client is installed.
