2210 and 2211 sets | If Caller ID feature is activated: When the telephone is not in use and a new call is received, the display will show the NEW symbol (2210 set only), the phone number and time and date of the call. After 16-20 seconds with no activity, the display will default to the Stand-by screen and remain on until another call is received, or a button is pressed. | Deleting Calls | ||
| To delete an individual call: | When reviewing calls, you can delete an individual call by pressing and holding the Delete button once. (2211 Set: Press Delete again to confirm the deletion. The display will be erased line by line and the rest of the records will be renumbered.) | |
| To delete all calls: | When reviewing calls, you can delete all calls by pressing and holding Delete for more than 3 seconds. The [Delete All] will appear. | Options Button (2210 Set Only) The Options Button allows you to change the format of the displayed number. | The available Options format is: 7-digit: 7-digit telephone number. 10-digit: 3-digit area code + 7-digit telephone number 11-digit: long distance code 1 + 3-digit area code + 7-digit telephone number. **Conference Calls with more than 6 parties: Call 2-9000
Consultation
This stores the first call and permits the use of that same line to make a second call.
It should not be confused with Permanent Hold. Consultation requires that you activate
a feature within 15 seconds, otherwise you will receive a fast busy signal. Press Flash
to reconnect the call.
Fast Busy/Reorder
A busy signal twice as fast as a regular busy signal indicating a call cannot be completed.
This occurs when the user misdials or tries to activate a feature not available on that
telephone.
Power Failure Telephone
The charcoal gray standard set which has access to an outside line to be used only
for essential communications during a prolonged power failure. This set has a yellow
sticker on the front base that states: This telephone will provide dial tone during a
telephone system power failure.
Special Dial Tone
The standard dial tone with three short interruptions at the beginning. This is a
confirmation that the system is ready to receive further instructions from the user.
Station Identifier
The alphanumeric characters located on the telephone set to the left of the telephone
number.
