Yale’s Adobe Creative Cloud license is now an annual, renewable subscription.  Subscriptions are valid for one year and can be renewed by active Yale faculty, students, and staff at no cost.  See the guidance below for subscription, renewal, eligibility error resolution, and sign-in instructions.

Subscribing to or Renewing Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription

1. Visit The ITS Software Library
2. Select the "Accept" button if prompted
3. If you are not already signed in:
   1. Select "Sign In" 
   2. Log in with your NetID
4. Select Yale Licensed Software
5. Select Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription
6. Select the "Add to Cart" button
7. Select the "View Full Cart" button
8. Select the "Check Out" button
9. Verify the reCAPTCHA and select the "Continue" button

Accessing Adobe applications through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App

1. Launch the Adobe Creative Cloud app 
   1. Mac OS: 
      1. Click on the Search icon in the top right corner
      2. Type "Adobe" and Adobe Creative Cloud will appear as one of the results.
   2. Windows OS:
      1. Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner
      2. Type "Adobe" and Adobe Creative Cloud will appear as one of the results.
2. At the Adobe sign-in window, enter your Yale email address.
3. The page will redirect to Yale’s Central Authentication Service (CAS) screen.
4. Sign in with your Yale NetID and NetID password.

Resolving an eligibility error

The ITS Software Library may reject your license and return the error: "This product is available only to certain user groups. To view the eligibility restrictions, click here. To request eligibility to order this product, click here." This means you either have the wrong Adobe Creative Cloud license type or are in a group that is not automatically eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud.

Wrong Adobe Creative Cloud License Type

1. Remove the Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription from your cart by selecting the red "x"
2. Select Yale Licensed Software
3. Select Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription
4. Select the "Are you eligible" tab
5. If you see a green checkmark next to your affiliation, you have the correct license selected - proceed to step 5
6. If you see a "Failed Criteria" error, select one of the other Adobe Creative Cloud 12 Month Subscription - Subscription links and repeat step 4
   1. The top link is the Adobe Creative Cloud Student license
   2. The bottom link is the Adobe Creative Cloud Faculty & Staff license
7. Select the "Add to Cart" button
8. Select the "View Full Cart" button
9. Select the "Check Out" button
10. Verify the reCAPTCHA and select the "Continue" button
