Microsoft 365: Supporting Hybrid Work

As workspaces have shifted to both remote and onsite, maintaining virtual collaboration is critical to get work done. Microsoft 365 offers apps and features that help you and your team stay productive, protected, and connected.

  • Keep everything digitized so that work only requires to have access to Wi-Fi.
  • Download the Teams Mobile app to communicate and collaborate on the go.
  • Use a shared calendar to communicate when people are in the office, working remotely, or out of office.
  • Set your status message in Teams to include details of your schedule such as working remotely for the day or when you are in transit to a meeting.
  • When RSVP’ing to a meeting in Outlook, edit the response and include if you will be attending in person or remote.
  • Share files within channels, meetings, and chats with a link or by uploading directly into Teams.
  • Be deliberate about and connecting with your coworkers who work remotely. Use Teams chat messages as a virtual watercooler and set a reminder to check in with people regularly.
  • View, edit, and collaborate on shared documents and files, and co-author in real-time in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Use Microsoft Whiteboard meeting to create a more inclusive environment with your hybrid team where everyone can add sticky notes and text and drag and drop items as needed.
