Using Google Docs and Drive with a no-mail EliApps account

The majority of the University uses Office 365 for email. Yale undergraduates and some faculty instead use EliApps. Individuals who use Office 365 and wish to collaborate on Google Docs and Google Drive with EliApps users may do so using an EliApps no-mail account. Please follow these directions to log into Yale's Google Docs and Google Drive systems with your EliApps no-mail account.

Google Docs

  1. Navigate to https://docs.google.com/a/yale.edu
  2. Log into Yale's Central Authentication System (CAS) with your NetID and NetID password
  3. If you receive an error that no account exists, request a no-mail EliApps account through the ITS Help Desk using the Call or Chat features on ITS's Get Help page.

Google Drive

  1. Navigate to https://drive.google.com/a/yale.edu
  2. Log into CAS with your NetID and NetID password
  3. If you receive an error that no account exists, request a no-mail EliApps account through the ITS Help Desk using the Call or Chat features on ITS's Get Help page.
