Requests for Add-on accounts (Zoom Room, Large Meeting, Concurrent Meeting or Webinar)

What are Zoom add-on accounts?

Zoom Rooms are a software-based room system that provides an integrated experience for audio conferencing, wireless screen sharing, and video conferencing. Zoom Rooms can be used for room-only attendees or remote attendees joining from another room, from their desktop, or from their mobile device. See the Zoom Rooms page for additional info: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/207483343-Getting-started-with-Zoom-Rooms

Large Meeting Accounts extend the number of attendees from 300 (which is available as part of the free Pro license) to 500 or 1000 attendees.

Zoom Webinar Accounts are a view-only platform designed to support learning events. Attendees cannot see each other, and the Host cannot see the attendees. A webinar has registration, reporting features, and in-meeting chat for attendees. There is no minimum size for a webinar, but more people can attend compared to a traditional Zoom Meeting depending on the licensing level purchased. The organizer can designate up to 25 video presenters. The attendees can join in live polling, Q&A, etc. The differences between regular meetings and webinars are broken down here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005474943-Meeting-and-Webinar-Comparison

Concurrent Meeting license add-ons allow an account to host more than one concurrent meeting at the same time. Concurrent Meetings are not compatible with Webinars.

Zoom Events license add-ons allow a person to use the Zoom Events platform to fully manage virtual events. It includes all of the functionality of the Webinar accounts as mentioned above plus all of the features of the Zoom Events platform.

How much does an add-on license cost?

Zoom add-ons are purchased on an annual basis; you can decide at the time of purchase whether your license will be for one year only or if it should renew every year. All non-recurring accounts are deprovisioned on November 30th of the current year. The exception to this are Webinar 3000 and Webinar 5000 add-ons which can be purchased for a one-time event.

Note: Zoom has eliminated the Webinar 100 offering, which was previously $400 per year. Users who held a Webinar 100 license were given a one-time upgrade to Webinar 500 at no additional cost for the year.
